Agreement
By using PlaceMyOrder as a seller or customer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
PlaceMyOrder provides tools for independent sellers to manage a private digital storefront, receive orders, and optionally offer pay-on-tab to approved customers. PlaceMyOrder is not the seller of goods listed on individual shop pages.
Seller responsibilities
- Provide accurate menu, pricing, and availability information.
- Fulfil orders you accept and communicate with customers as needed.
- Handle payments and refunds according to your own policies unless online payments are added to the platform later.
- Comply with applicable food safety, tax, and business regulations.
- Keep login credentials secure and notify us of unauthorised access.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and delivery details when placing orders.
- Pay shops according to their stated methods (cash, EFT, tab settlement, etc.).
- Tab ordering, where enabled, is a credit arrangement with the individual shop, not with PlaceMyOrder.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, or attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. PlaceMyOrder is not liable for disputes between customers and shops, food quality, or payment disputes handled offline between parties.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
